The Chamber Soloists of Detroit Concert Series opens with a recital performance by Yoonshin Song, the new concertmaster of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by pianist Pauline Martin.
Ms. Song and Ms. Martin will perform on Sunday, October 7th at 7:30 p.m. at Birmingham Unitarian Church, Woodward Ave at Lone Pine Rd in Bloomfield Hills.
The concert is sponsored by Dr. Stanley Levy in memory of his wife, Rita S. Levy, a long time supporter of the arts.
The program includes music of Janáček, Saint Saëns, and Brahms, and is followed by a private benefit reception where patrons may meet the artists.
