On Sunday, you can find out why cool folk are having such a great time volunteering in the arts. It’s ”A Celebration of Volunteers.”
Discover opportunities to volunteer and enjoy a rare look inside the historic Model T Automotive Complex. There’ll be family friendly entertainment, refreshments, make-and-take projects, a raffle, and gift bags for the first 200 guests.
Held in recognition of the region’s volunteers in the arts and cultural sector, the free event celebrates all that’s cool about Southeast Michigan. For details on the CultureVolunteer program, click here.
Sponsors include Jimmy John’s, Jessica’s Natural Foods, and the Compuware Cafe. The Culture Volunteer project is made possible with support from the Ford Foundation, The Kresge Foundation, and The Michigan NonProfit Association.
Free and open to the public, will be held Sunday, May 6 from 2-5 p.m. at the Model T Automotive Heritage Complex, housed inside the former Ford Piquette Plant, 461 Piquette Avenue, Detroit, 48202. There is free, secure parking. To register, click here.
