Museums aren’t just for seeing art, but making art as well. On Saturday, March 19, artist Aimee Lee led a workshop at University of Michigan Museum of Art on the art of making Hanji, Korean paper. Participants engaged in a hands-on activity while also learning the rich history and cultural significance of this unique art form.

UMMA features a large collection of Korean artwork on display in the Woon-Hyung Lee and Korea Foundation Gallery of Korean Art and regularly offers workshops and opportunities for visitors to experience and learn about arts and culture in a variety of ways.
