Explore the fine line between observation and an eye for art when the Dearborn Community Arts Council presents its 23rd annual Juried Photography Exhibition. The exhibition is up through Feb. 28 at Padzieski Gallery, located inside of the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.
Today’s technology benefits both casual and serious photographers, but this exhibition serves as a reminder of the line between fine art and simple observation. Helping to define that line is award-winning, photojournalist and commercial photographer Bill Gemmell who’ll be judging this year’s exhibition. Mr. Gemmell began his career in 1979 as staff photographer for the Dearborn Times-Herald and currently works commercially and teaches photography at Macomb Community College.
The exhibition is sponsored by photo and video gear store ProCam of Livonia and features black and white, color and altered works by amateur and professional photographers. For more information, click here.
