Tune in to Detroit Public Television on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. to watch the premiere of RALPH, on the life and legacy of Detroit native and Buffalo Bills owner, Ralph C. Wilson, Jr., whose generosity and leadership did so much to enrich both cities.
Narrated by Chris Berman, RALPH tells the story of how Wilson’s Midwestern values – honesty, a strong work ethic, keeping one’s word, and the desire to help others – guided everything he did. He enjoyed great success in business and with the Bills, which won four back-to-back AFC championships and saw Wilson’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Viewers will meet this extraordinary man through rare footage, interviews with players, fans, family and civic leaders in Detroit and Buffalo, where his philanthropy will continue to benefit others for years to come. The evening will also include a conversation with his widow and Life Trustee of the Foundation, Mary Wilson, moderated by award-winning business columnist, Tom Walsh.
