See, love and buy works of art created by top professionals and talented students at the Hot Works 16th annual Orchard Lake Fine Art Show. The juried exhibition happens July 28 and 29 at a new location in West Bloomfield on Orchard Lake Road, south of Maple Road. Live entertainment and quality food from local restaurants will be available throughout the weekend.
This juried fine art and fine craft show is voted top 100 art shows in the nation for the last 10 years in a row. Visitors will see many artists who do not participate in other Michigan shows. All art is original and personally handmade by the artist exhibiting in the show. Organizers report there is something for everyone, in all price ranges.
The 2018 Youth Art Competition featueres works by students in grades K-8, ages 5-13. Representing the Hot Works Orchard Lake Fine Art Show’s commitment to bring art education into the community, students artists are encouraged to submit his/her art to be publicly displayed in the art show the entire weekend. There is $250 in youth art awards as students are exposed to the entrepreneurship opportunity of doing art shows for a living.
