    U.S. Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith; composer David Lang; rapper Mike Eagle’s style of humor-infused, socially aware hip-hop.
  • MASTERPIECE: Grantchester – Sunday, 11/4 from 2-6pm 
    James Norton stars as the handsome, jazz-loving vicar Sidney Chambers, with Robson Green as his law-enforcement ally, Inspector Geordie Keating.
  • MASTERPIECE: The Durrells in Corfu – Sunday, 11/4 at 8pm 
    The family plan a party to celebrate Gerry’s 13th birthday, but they are forced to hold it inside when a plague of mosquitoes descends; as the party planning progresses, Louisa finds it difficult to accept that her youngest is growing up.

Great Performances: The Sound of Music – Friday, 11/9 at 9pm  
Beloved by generations of audiences worldwide, “The Sound of Music” tells the inspiring true story of the von Trapp Family Singers and their escape from Austria during the rise of Nazism. Great Performances presents the 2015 live U.K. broadcast version starring Kara Tointon as Maria, Julian Ovenden as Captain von Trapp, Katherine Kelley as Baroness Schraeder, Alexander Armstrong as Max, and Maria Friedman as the Mother Abbess.
