Celebrate the colors, feelings and meanings of fall through some of the best music ever when the Southeastern Michigan Wind Ensemble and Five Lakes Silver Band perform in concert on Sunday at Clarkston High School.
The Fall Concert is free and open to the public of all communities. The program begins at 3 p.m. on Nov. 18. Clarkston High School, located at 6093 Flemings Lake Road, Clarkston, Mich.
While admission to the concert is free, the program features music stand among the finest in the modern classical repertoire. Members of the Southeastern Michigan Wind Ensemble and Five Lakes Silver Band are among the finest musicians in the region.
The two ensembles will play works by Lauridson, Jenkins, Fillmore and “Profanation,” from Leonard Bernstein’s Jeremiah Symphony, as well as Aaron Copland’s “Variations on a Shaker Melody,” from Appalachian Spring, and “Fanfare for the Common Man.”
