Details from the CHM:
We are excited to bring back our traditional Christmas Bazaar to help provide you with the opportunity to purchase unique, hand-crafted Christmas gifts, décor and goodies throughout the house. (Champagne Chocolates, the Mitten Lady, and more!) This event will truly put you in the spirit of Christmas as the house will be dressed in Victorian Christmas décor and carols will be sung at the pump organ. Hot Wassail, gingerbread with nuns-butter or hard sauce and roasted chestnuts will be available for purchase.
Please spread the word of this event to friends and family as it is a helpful fundraiser for our Crocker House Museum. No admission fee required.
On Sunday, December 2 at one o’clock we are having a Christmas Music Afternoon Tea. Ranka Mulkurn on hammered dulcimer and George Chirota on fiddle will entertain you with Christmas carols while you enjoy a full afternoon tea to include Three Wives Tea, scones with mock Devonshire cream and lemon curd, a variety of tea-sandwiches and desserts.
Tickets are limited, non-refundable and cost $35 for members of the Macomb County Historical Society & $40 for non-members. ($15/$20 is a tax-deductible gift, charitable license MICS/CT6869.)
