Details from organizers:

Are you a small business owner? Have you ever wondered what the next step is for your business … or how prepared you are to prevail in a market that might be facing bumpier times?

May is small business month, and The LEE Group will be hosting its fifth annual Small Business Workshop presented by Fifth Third Bank, the perfect place to begin answering those questions and learn more about growing and sustaining your business.

This year’s theme is Navigating the Headwinds of Change, and the workshop can help you decide whether or not your business is ready for today’s competitive, dynamic market in light of potential economic changes. The event will feature speakers, panelists, community and corporate partners, who will provide information and resources focused on assisting businesses that are navigating a potential changing economic landscape later this year.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions focused on navigating the challenges of running a business, understanding customer’s behavioral purchase patterns, using social media to deliver key messages while supporting in a cost-effective manner, understanding economic patterns and their impact on business sustainability and understanding the financial value a customer brings to your business–longer-term.

“We are proud this is the fifth annual Small Business Workshop and pleased it has become an integral part of Small Business Week in May,” says Mark S. Lee, president and CEO of the LEE Group, LLC.  “It provides important information, access to resources and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs looking to grow and sustain their business while navigating the headwinds of change.”

Detroit Public Television, along with Fifth Third Bank, is proud to sponsor this important event.
