Detroit Theatre Collective presents a dramatic collage centered around Maurice Maeterlinck’s 1891 symbolist play L’Intruse (The Intruder). The show features dance, vaudeville, visual media and the driving action of Maeterlinck’s story, exploring metaphysical themes such as the spirit world, life and death, family and change. Performances of The Intruder and Other Stories are through Sunday, June 9 at Light Box Performing Arts Center in Detroit.
Starring Laura Heikkinen, Phil Hughes, Fred Karn, Maggie Lorenzetti and Tim Pollack. The DTC production is directed by Chris Berryman.
