Calling all bibliophiles! Heads-up, bookworms! The third annual Detroit Festival of Books happens Sunday in Eastern Market.
More than 200 vendors selling used, rare, antiquarian and unusual books will take over Sheds 5 and 6 on July 21, 2019.
You’ll find an array of treasures beyond books as well, including maps, comics, vintage board games, vinyl records, art and more. Enjoy food, beer and funk music as you peruse rows upon rows of endless literature, too. The festival is free and open for all to attend.
The Detroit Festival of Books is presented by the Book Club of Detroit and sponsored by Cafe d’Mongo’s — Detroit’s original speakeasy.
