Celebrate the end of slavery in the United States when the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History welcomes Robert Hurst as he presents the Jubilant Juneteenth Jamboree Band. Featuring America’s original musical form, the Jubilant Juneteenth Jazz Concert is Wednesday, June 19, in the General Motors Theater at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, beginning at 7 p.m.
The ensemble includes: Robert Hurst (bass) Rafael Statin (saxophones) Pepe Espinosa (percussion), Ian Finkelstein (piano), Nate Winn (drums), Vincent Chandler (trombone), Dwight Adams (trumpet), and other All-Stars.
