The Livonia Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Volodymyr Shesiuk, Music Director and Conductor, present “Old World — New Season” with Dr. Svetlana Tsivinskaya, violin soloist. Opening their 2019-2020 season, the concert performance is Saturday, Oct. 12, beginning at 4 p.m. at Clarenceville High School in Livonia.

Program:

  • Fidelio Overture – Ludwig van Beethoven
  • Romanze No. 2 – Ludwig van Beethoven
  • Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture – Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
  • Symphony No. 4, Op. 90 in A Major – Felix Mendelssohn
  • Lohengrin, Prelude to Act III – Richard Wagner
