Contemporary dance and music combine beautifully when Eisenhower Dance Detroit opens it’s 29th Metro Series Season with Back2Back|Bach2Beatles on Sunday. In collaboration with Detroit electro-pop violin band, Nuclassica, this exhilarating double bill will feature EDD Artistic Director, Stephanie Pizzo’s, The Lovely Exchange, set to Bach’s Partita for Violin Solo No. 1 in B Minor and the premiere of her new work set to the timeless music of the Beatles with live musical accompaniment. The performance takes place at Seligman Performing Arts Center on Oct. 6, beginning at 2 p.m.

Jordan Allen Broder, an accomplished violinist and saxophonist, has quickly established a reputation for his support and promotion of the arts. Completing a formal education in music performance, production and artist management, Mr. Broder has worked with a diverse roster of classical, jazz and contemporary talent that includes the International Chamber Soloists, rock-sensation Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Jazz at Lincoln Center and prize-winners of “Miss Michigan” and “Miss America.”

Seligman Performing Arts Center is located at 22305 W 13 Mile RD, Franklin, MI 48025 on the campus of Detroit Country Day School.
