Eisenhower Dance explores questions of truth, justice and morality through the arts of movement in Eye of the Beholder (Pt. 1). Performances are Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 26 & 27, at Varner Recital Hall on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester.

Details from Eisenhower Dance:

Could the innate definition of truth and justice lie solely in the eye of the beholder? Join EDD Artistic Director, Stephanie Pizzo, and the acclaimed EDD dancers as they investigate perspective…how it shapes judgment and impacts culture and society. This two-part, site-specific work, at two uniquely different venues, Oakland University’s Varner Recital Hall and the Lightbox in Detroit, reimagines what we think of as performance space. Watch contemporary dance transform both environments to create two unique perspectives with a common theme. Join in the artistic process for an interactive experience that will impact the perspective of Part 2 in April 2020 at the Light Box in Detroit. The program also features the mesmerizing premieres of dances created by renowned choreographers, Christian Denice and Baira.
