Youngsters and the young at heart can enjoy the classic story in a most remarkable way when the National Marionette Theatre presents Pinocchio. Performances are Friday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 1 at your Detroit Institute of Arts.

Following the iconic hero inspired by Carlo Collodi’s, The Adventures of Pinocchio, David Syrotiak’s National Marionette Theatre’s Pinocchio features intricately carved marionettes and vibrant hand-painted scenery to tell the beloved tale of a puppet’s journey to become a real boy.

The program is free with general admission. Recommended for families with children ages 5 and up.
