The mystery and magic of Rudyard Kipling‘s story about a boy and his animal friends moves into the future when Macomb Center for the Performing Arts presents Jungle Book. Produced by Kidoons and WYRD Productions in association with The 20K Collective, the Thursday, Jan. 9 performance begins at 9:30 a.m.

Details from MCPA:

Now an adult, Mowgli feels like an outsider in the big city. He opens the book where he’s collected the stories of his time in the jungle, and reminisces about his infamous adventures with Baloo, Bagheera, and all the animal characters we love. This dazzling production uses sound-scape and immersive multimedia sure to enthrall a new generation of readers.
